Note: This firmware is only applicable for Microsoft® Windows® Operating Systems and
the Westell® WireSpeed™ Model 2110 DSL Modems. You should only install this firmware upgrade
if you have been advised to do so by a Technical Support representative.

The first step in the firmware upgrade process is to determine which upgrade you need to install.

a. |
Turn your modem over, and read the plate on the bottom:

b. |
You can read the model number in two places:

|
 |
c. |
The model number will be either A90-210015-04, or B90-210015-04

|
 |
d. |
Choose the firmware upgrade file with the model number from the bottom of your modem in the file name:
i. A90-210015WebLoad_VER_01_00_35.exe if your model number is A90-210015-04
ii. B90-210015WebLoad_VER_01_00_35.exe if your model number is B90-210015-04

Click on the file name, and when prompted to, save the file on your computer.

Make sure you note the file's location so you can upgrade the firmware once the download is completed.

The download prompt will appear when you click on the file link.

Click on the Save button and the following window will appear:

Make sure the file save location is a place you will remember, such as your
Desktop, then click on the Save button and the following window will appear:

c. |
When the download is completed, one of the two following icons can be found in the save location:

i. Which icon will depend on whether you downloaded the upgrade for modems with model number A90-210015-04 or B90-210015-04. (You should have downloaded the file that corresponds with your model number)

To start the upgrade, ensure that your modem is turned on, then double-click on the icon of the file you downloaded, and the following screen will appear:

Click on the Next > button, and the following window will appear:

(Note: The TCP/IP Adapter address for your computer/modem will be different than the one in the picture!)

Click on the Next > button:

(Your Current Version: may be different from what is pictured above; the Version to Transfer: should be the same.)

g. |
Click on the Next > button, and the following window will appear:

(The transfer will run from 0% - 100%.)

(Once the transfer is complete, the above message will appear.)

(Once completed the above window will appear.)

Click on the Done button.

Your firmware upgrade is completed.
NOTE: During the firmware upgrade process, your modem will reset itself. When
this happens, if you do not have your settings configured to auto-reconnect to your DSL
service, then you will need to reconnect to the Internet in your usual manner.
