What if I'm not sure if I am already on the Verizon Online DSL One Year Plan?
To check your current DSL price plan:
- Go to Verizon Central at
http://www.verizon.net/verizoncentral/
- Select "My Account"
- Log in with your Verizon Online user name and password
- Select "Billing"
- Select "View Your Bill"
Your DSL bill will state the amount you are currently paying per
month. If you need help reading your bill, select "Understand Your
Bill". If your question is not answered there, call Verizon at
800-567-6789 during regular business hours and ask for "Billing".

When does my discounted rate take effect when I switch from a
month-to-month plan to a Verizon Online DSL One Year Plan?
While your discounted rate will take effect on the same day you request
to change from a month-to-month to the Verizon Online One Year Plan,
your new rate will begin to appear on one of your next two bill cycles,
depending upon when you changed your plan (it may have been in the
middle of a bill cycle).

When does my discounted rate take effect after I renew my Verizon
Online DSL One Year Plan?
If you renew your existing plan prior the expiration of our current
plan, your new plan will begin at the end of your existing one-year
plan. If you are past your expiration date, your new plan will begin
the day you renew or sign up again.

What happens at the end of my Verizon Online One Year Plan?
You will need to renew your Verizon Online One Year Plan at the end
of your 12-month term to continue enjoying your current discounted
rate. Since Verizon bills a month in advance, you will want to renew
your plan at least 30-59 days prior to your expiration date. You can
renew online at
http://www.verizon.net/renew/
at least 30-59 days prior to your
expiration date. If you do not renew your Verizon Online DSL One Year
Plan, effective on your anniversary date, your account will
automatically revert to the undiscounted month to month rate associated
with your package.

How will I know when to renew my Verizon Online DSL One Year Plan?
You will receive a USPS letter, phone call and an email to your @verizon.net
address to remind you to renew your Verizon Online One Year Plan.
You can renew with a few clicks online at

at least
30-59 days prior to your expiration date. If you have an alternate
email address and want us to send your reminder e-mail to that address
too, please update your Verizon Online My Account by clicking here.

How can I upgrade my DSL to ultra-fast Verizon FiOS
sm?
Find out if Verizon FiOS -- our new, extremely fast fiber-optic
Internet service — is available in your neighborhood by
visiting verizon.net/fios and entering your phone number or
address.
To upgrade your service to FiOS, send a request to
billingservices@verizon.net.
Be sure to include your name, DSL telephone number, Verizon Online
User Name and a daytime contact telephone number in your message.
Verizon Online provides DSL at maximum connection speeds up to 3M/768K
for residential customers. 3M/768K is not available on some DSL lines
due to the:
- Distance from your location to the Verizon Central Office
- Equipment inside the Verizon Central Office
- Condition of telephone wiring inside and outside your location

What is an Early Termination Fee?
The Early Termination Fee (ETF) is a fee you pay if you cancel your
Verizon Online DSL One Year Plan prior to the end of the 12th month.
The ETF depends on your package and the amount of time that you have
had service.
